His Holiness the Twelfth Gyalwang Drukpa is the supreme head of the Drukpa Lineage. His Holiness teaches around the world, and has major centers in France, England, Germany, Mexico, Peru, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Taiwan, among several others. Humanitarian efforts include the Druk White Lotus School in Ladakh, India, hospitals in Nepal, and restoration projects in Tibet.

2008 marked the launching of Drukpa LA, a community of spiritual practitioners and friends specific to Los Angeles and Southern California. As an organization, we support the activities and future visits of His Holiness to the area, and encourage active service for the community at large.

Drukpa Los Angeles is a spiritual community based in the Drukpa lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. Activities include organizing Dharma teachings in the Los Angeles area, community service as part of the “Live to Love” initiative, and Sangha meeting groups. Drukpa Los Angeles is also actively involved with pilgrimages, education, and service events abroad, usually led by His Holiness the Twelfth Gyalwang Drukpa, supreme head of the Drukpa lineage.
