For an inaugural event in Los Angeles this past winter, His Holiness the Twelfth Gyalwang Drukpa spoke to a full house at the Santa Monica Public Library on the topic of “Live to Love,” a campaign of active, compassionate living.

Organized by Druk Foundation (now Drukpa Charitable Foundation), the event hosted over 200 people from around the world. Drukpa Charitable Foundation is a non-sectarian non-profit organization devoted to His Holiness’ humanitarian projects.

Currently, the new Los Angeles Sangha is launching to support the spiritual teachings and activities of His Holiness the Twelfth Gyalwang Drukpa. In the spirit of the Drukpa lineage, Drukpa LA hopes to host and foster the Dharma in our own neck of the woods. More on Tibetan Buddhism and the Drukpa Lineage.
